On-Site Data Migration - Regain Access to files - XP Password Reset
Backup and Restore Data between 2 PCs or from an inaccessable XP Operating System
An Emergency Boot CD will be used as an attempt at accessing the Hard Drive. There is a $75 minimum charge even if the data is not accessible - For instance drives with real or suspected physical damage (visible or hidden), it is strongly suggested that you ship it off to a company that specializes in data forensics and/or major disaster recovery- Backup and migration of readable data to external device or second PC. (customer supplied)
- After testing drive for viability, an attempt will be made to fix boot problem ("NTLDR", "Missing Operating System", "Corrupt MBR" errors, etc.)
- Visually Inspect Motherboard for damage. Test Power Supply (desktops only - not laptops)
- Test PC by booting from alternate source. (512 MB RAM or more for this to work properly)
- XP password reset and/or add an Administrator account to regain access without reformatting
